Des Dougan of Dougan Consulting came to my home to sort out a host of questions and difficulties I was having with my home office computer and printer. My sincere thanks and appreciation to Des Dougan, of Dougan Consulting Group. I was referred to Des by one of our suppliers. We were in need of help to secure our computers from viruses, loss of data and other frequent problems.

Des visited our office and did a professional evaluation of our needs following detailed information meetings with me. He recommended installing a Server and had all our office computers connected to a network including anti-virus software and protection. Some time after the server was installed on Des's recommendation we decided to upgrade our computers and software as well. Des took charge of the entire project right from ordering the hardware and software, installation, reconfiguration and set-up without depriving the staff of access during business hours. The change over was planned and executed in a professional and efficient manner.

Dougan Consulting Group has provided a broad range of IT services to Chinook Engineering for over 10 years: from our beginnings with one employee through our growth to 15+ workstations.  Dougan provided insight into valuable open software (free) including our server operating system (Linux), a suite of office applications, Internet browser and customer database management application. They've also provided guidance on hardware purchases including workstations, laptops, projectors, network back-up drives, printers, uninterruptible power supplies and copiers and, in some cases, supplied the equipment.
